Empowering Disabled Women

The main problem for the employability of disabled women is they do not get formal education. The reasons are inherent in mobility problem, social inclusion, gender bias, affordability of parents in providing special transportation, and inability to move from home town for the purpose of employment.

In the above context, it is almost impossible to place more than 10% of disabled women on jobs. Disabled women without job have to be dependent on their family members. Thus they are forced to lead a miserable life without any dignity or self respect. So, it is essential to think of alternative methods of livelihood suitable for disabled.
